As well as being a market leader in the production of stainless steel fine wires, Ulbrich Stainless Steels and Special metals also have in house electroplating lines so that we can cater to the requirements of high precision cable manufacturers.
With a particular emphasis on custom made flat wires for this market, we are very well positioned to supply our UK customers with electroplated wires (or wrap wires) for use in high performance cables and connectors. Holding tight tolerances on very high aspect ratio wires means we have a performance advantage over our competitors.
